Fresh ink splashes across the ground, an Inkling disappears beneath it, and a seemingly clear route suddenly belongs to the other team. Splatoon keeps everyone moving, but there is still time to notice a particularly good pair of sneakers. Looking ready for battle apparently includes getting the outfit right.

Splatoon coloring pages slow things down enough to appreciate how much personality goes into those characters. The gear feels like something a fan might actually want to wear, while the expressions bring back the mood of a match. Even away from the screen, that slightly competitive confidence is easy to recognize.

Coloring Ideas for Splatoon Pages

Try one of these coloring ideas, or use them as a starting point for your own.

Give the Skateboard a Signature Look

Design a skateboard that belongs with this Inkling’s outfit. Choose one color from the shirt or high-top shoes and repeat it on the board, then add a simple stripe or checker pattern wherever the visible surface has room. Keep the traffic cones in a separate, strong color so the board’s custom details stay easy to spot.

Make the Fresh Ink Stand Out

Use the roller beside the stacked ink crates as your cue for a freshly painted patch. Give the crate panels muted colors and their corner pieces a darker shade, then fill the splatter with a vivid ink color. Repeat that color on the roller’s working surface. A few small white gaps inside the splatter can suggest a wet shine while the Inkling and Octoling work.

Let Shiver’s Fan Set the Rhythm

Start with Shiver’s raised fan and alternate two colors across its folded sections. Carry that alternating rhythm into the surrounding droplets and triangular shapes, choosing the next color each time you move around the figure. Give the larger curling forms a pale wash of one of those colors so the small, bright accents remain distinct in the detailed scene.

Choose the Concert Lighting

Give Pearl and Marina’s performance a colored spotlight. Pick pink, violet, or blue for one overhead light, then lightly shade the nearby edges of the performers and DJ console with the same pencil. Let their clothing colors show through underneath. Darker speakers and stage edges will make that soft lighting more noticeable without needing to fill every bubble and splash.

Share the Beach Ball Page

Color this one with a partner: one person takes the squid and the other takes the octopus. Each chooses a favorite color for their character, then you take turns coloring the beach ball’s panels with those two colors. The ball becomes the part you make together. Divide the surrounding shells between you to finish the edges of the page.

Build Depth Around Agent 8

Make Agent 8 stand forward from the geometric surroundings by giving distant towers and rings very light gray shading. Use medium gray on the nearer platforms and darker shading beneath their steps. On the floating cubes, leave one face white and shade the others differently. Save a strong accent color for Agent 8 so your eye finds the character among all those shapes.

Color in the Direction of the Swing

Follow the Octoling’s sweeping ink splash with curved pencil strokes. Begin near the oversized brush and work along the splash’s bend, pressing more firmly at its lower edge and easing off toward the outer tips. Let a few lighter streaks follow the same curve. Keep the floor tiles softly colored so their straight lines give the moving ink a clear backdrop.

Take a Treasure Count with Big Man

Turn Big Man’s treasure scene into a small search-and-color activity. Pick a color for the coins, another for the shells, and a third for the crystals. Find and color one group at a time, adding a tally in the margin for each clearly separate item. Once you’re finished, compare the totals and see which kind of treasure fills the scene.
