Molly has a question, Gil is ready to get involved, and Mr. Grouper knows how to turn the discussion into a school day worth watching. In Bubble Guppies, learning often comes with a song catchy enough to follow a child from the television to the breakfast table.

Bubble Guppies coloring pages make room for that familiar company after an episode ends. Recognizing a favorite character can prompt a child to explain something from the show, sometimes with the confidence of someone taking over the lesson. There may be singing, too, especially if the grown-ups have only just stopped humming along.

Coloring Ideas for Bubble Guppies Pages

Try one of these coloring ideas, or use them as a starting point for your own.

Give Deema a Signature Trim

Choose one main color for Deema’s dress and a second color for the edges of her ruffles. Carry that trim color into a few surrounding shells, as if you were coordinating the decorations for her fashion show. Leave some shells in quieter shades so the repeated accent stays noticeable. Try the two colors together on scrap paper first—the small strip of trim can change the whole outfit.

Let the Dinosaur Fossil Emerge

Make the dinosaur skeleton look newly uncovered by keeping its bones pale cream and coloring the surrounding rock in deeper browns or grays. Work carefully into the spaces between the ribs and around the vertebrae; those darker pockets will help separate the repeated bones. Start near the child using the brush, then follow the skeleton outward, revealing a little more of the fossil as you color.

Try a Glass Effect in Nonny’s Lab

Nonny’s magnifying glass, flask, and beaker offer a small experiment in making glass look clear. Add a thin, pale blue crescent just inside one edge of each glass shape, leaving most of the interior white. Use the same side each time to suggest light coming from one direction. Give the worktable and microscope fuller color so you can see how little coloring the glass needs.

Plan a Cake You Would Order

Use the tiered birthday cake to invent your ideal party dessert. Pick an icing flavor for each tier and let its color suggest the taste: strawberry pink, chocolate brown, or a flavor of your own invention. Choose gift-ribbon and balloon colors that suit your cake. Once it is finished, tell someone what each tier would taste like and which slice you would choose first.

Switch On the Concert Lights

Give the Bubble Guppies rock band a colorful light show using the three hanging stage lights. Choose a different color for each light, then lightly shade a widening beam beneath it, letting the outlines remain visible. Where two beams meet, overlap the colors gently and see what happens. Stronger color on the curtains will help the softly lit performance area stand out.

Make the Haunted House Look Welcoming

Turn the haunted house into a cheerful party destination by filling its windows with warm yellow and orange. Repeat that warmth in the jack-o’-lantern faces, then use dusky purple or blue on the house walls. Keep the ghosts mostly white. The glowing windows and pumpkins will give the smiling, costumed Guppies a welcoming place to gather, even with bats overhead.

Choose Landmarks for Bubble Puppy

Help Bubble Puppy plan a route to the open treasure chest. Choose three visible landmarks, such as the crab, a shell, and a coral branch, and give each a memorable color. When the page is finished, trace an imaginary route with your finger and give directions using those landmarks: “Pass the red crab, then turn toward the purple coral.” Try a second route that visits different seabed details.

Imagine a Home for the Little Alien

Choose one of the planets as an imaginary home for the little alien in the Guppies’ moon adventure. Give the alien and that planet a shared color or pattern—perhaps turquoise spots echoed inside the planet’s craters. Color the other planets differently so your connection is easy to spot. Then invite someone to guess where the alien lives by looking for your color clue.
