A strange noise in an old building would send most people toward the exit. The Ghostbusters arrive carrying equipment that makes almost as much noise as the problem. Egon takes the readings seriously, while Venkman looks as though he would appreciate a less complicated customer. Somehow, both responses feel appropriate.
That combination keeps Ghostbusters coloring pages close to the spirit of the films. The familiar gear is part of the attraction, but so is the sense of people doing an ordinary job under extraordinary circumstances. Even with a proton pack on his back, Venkman still seems capable of complaining about the working conditions.

Coloring Ideas for Ghostbusters Pages
Try one of these coloring ideas, or use them as a starting point for your own.
Build a Detector for a Very Suspicious Afternoon
The handheld scanner on this equipment sheet has everything a pretend investigator needs: a gauge, a pointer, and buttons whose purpose is open to interpretation.
Copy its shape onto folded cardboard and attach a paper pointer with a paper fastener. Around the dial, add readings for faint activity, a possible haunting, and an urgent call to the team. Someone can hide paper ghosts around the room while the investigator searches with the detector. The pointer moves whenever a clue appears, including behind the cupboard that nobody has trusted all afternoon.
Give the Library Ghost Something Worth Guarding
Floating books surround a ghost with glasses and a bun, while the startled investigator looks considerably less comfortable in the library.
The visible book covers can hold miniature versions of favorite spooky stories. A title might fit on a larger cover; smaller ones can carry a recognizable symbol. Use the reverse of the page for a reading list, with a brief note beside each book about what made it memorable. Slip the sheet into the book currently being read. A haunted library seems an appropriate place to keep the next few choices.
Invent a Dessert That the Team Cannot Handle
The cupcake’s chef hat is a wonderful detail. It suggests that this enormous frosting-covered creature has professional standards, despite looming over three ghost hunters.
Make it the first entry in an imaginary bakery incident report. What made the cupcake grow? What happens when it shakes its frosting? What might persuade it to leave the street? A few sentences beside the finished picture can establish the problem. Then sketch another troublesome dessert on the reverse, borrowing its movement from its shape: a rolling doughnut or a pastry that unfolds as it walks.
Take Ecto-1 Out of the Garage
Ecto-1 is already leaving the arched firehouse doorway, with equipment piled across its roof. This image makes a good starting point for a small tabletop callout.
Mount the vehicle section on thin card, leaving a border around the roof hardware rather than cutting between every piece. Attach a folded card tab behind it so it stands upright. A road drawn across packing paper can connect the firehouse to an invented haunted building. Move the car along the route as somebody announces what the team has been called to investigate.
Add the Case That Brought Everyone Together
Egon Spengler, Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Winston Zeddemore stand equipped outside the firehouse. The group portrait leaves the next job entirely open.
For a Ghostbusters movie night, place this page beside a bowl of folded paper “calls.” Each guest writes an imaginary haunting at an ordinary location: a supermarket freezer, a laundromat, or the school music cupboard. Draw a call and let everyone propose how the team would handle it. The most entertaining cases usually begin with a small nuisance that has become wildly inconvenient.
Decide What Is Coming Through the Portal
The four investigators aim toward a caped figure inside a huge star-shaped portal. Everything in the composition points toward that arrival.
This is a satisfying page for a dramatic fan poster. Give the portal the strongest contrast and let the converging beams remain easy to follow. In the margin, add an original case title and one short line describing the threat. The title should grow from a detail in this picture, such as the star or the cape. Leave the figure’s identity open to your own story.
