Takedown Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
ColorwithAnne respects intellectual property rights and reviews reports concerning content published on ColorwithAnne.com.
This policy explains how rights holders and authorized representatives can report concerns involving coloring pages, PDF files, images, text, or other website content.
1. Reporting a Concern
Reports should be sent to [email protected] with the subject line “Content Takedown Request”.
Please include:
- Contact details: Your name and email address, and the name of the rights holder if different.
- Your authority: Whether you own the rights or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Identification of the original material: A description of the work, trademark, or other protected material, with links or supporting information where available.
- The reported content: The exact ColorwithAnne page URLs and, where possible, direct links to the affected images or PDFs.
- An explanation: Which rights are involved and why the reported use is believed to infringe them.
- Confirmation: A statement that the report is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its representative, or applicable law.
- Signature: Your full name as an electronic signature.
A copyright registration certificate is not required to submit a concern. Additional information may be requested where necessary to identify the material or verify the claim.
Please provide only information relevant to the report. Identity documents and unrelated sensitive information should not be included unless specifically requested through an appropriate process.
2. Review Process
Reports are reviewed as promptly as reasonably possible. The review may include examining the reported material, checking available creation or licensing records, and requesting clarification from the reporter or a content contributor.
Where appropriate, access to the reported material may be temporarily restricted while the concern is investigated. Urgent or clearly substantiated reports may result in removal before the review is complete.
Incomplete reports may require follow-up. This does not prevent action where the available information is sufficient to identify and address a concern.
3. Possible Outcomes
Depending on the information available, ColorwithAnne may:
- Remove the reported material or disable access to it.
- Correct or replace content to address the concern.
- Retain the material where the available information supports its continued use.
- Request further information before reaching a decision.
Where removal is appropriate, action will address the relevant page content and associated downloadable files under ColorwithAnne’s control, rather than only removing a visible link.
The reporter will be informed of the outcome where reasonably practicable. Removal or temporary restriction does not, by itself, constitute an admission of infringement.
4. Clarifications and Reconsideration
A reporter may correct or withdraw a report by replying to the original email.
A person whose content has been affected may request reconsideration by identifying the material and providing relevant evidence, such as ownership records, permission, or information showing that the content was misidentified.
Reconsideration does not guarantee restoration. Any applicable legal notice, counter-notice, or court process takes precedence over this general review procedure.
5. Information Handling
Information submitted with a report will be used to assess the concern, communicate with the relevant parties, and maintain appropriate records.
Relevant information may be shared with a content contributor, service provider, or professional adviser where reasonably necessary to investigate or respond to the claim, or where required by law.
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where disclosure is necessary for handling the report or meeting legal obligations.
6. Scope of This Policy
This policy provides a general process for reporting and reviewing rights concerns. It does not determine legal ownership, replace applicable legal procedures, or restrict anyone’s statutory rights or remedies.
Reports should be accurate and submitted in good faith. This process must not be used to impersonate a rights holder or seek removal of material through knowingly false claims.
For questions about permitted use of ColorwithAnne resources, please refer to the Licensing Policy.
7. Updates and Contact
Changes to this policy will be published on this page with a revised date.
